Got out this morning at 6 :45 water was calm laid 30 topless traps came home with a full bushel, nice size crabs and fat Lots of guys out there crabbing for a friday, i think the word got out

do regular female crabs attract males ? The comm boat I was on was doing it , the little amount of females they caught they would put back in the parlor , they swore it drew the males in based upon the observation that most of the full pots pulled had a female and the not so good pots didn't (shrugs)

I will be down in Ocean City MD and was hoping to do some crabbing and fishing off on of the piers Unforutnally, at the hotel we dont have a stove to cook them so is there any way to preserve them till we get home??
