Ive owned a couple variants of ARs and AKs I only have one rifle and one pistol set up for any SHTF(i know not very probable) situation I know and have met some guys who have 5+ rifles, i mean i don't think it is necessary to have multiple ARs or battle rifles for one given situation How many AR's rifles do you need? whats your opinion

So I went shooting my new suppressed 5 56 build recently and noticed how hot it gets compared to non-suppressed ARs I wasn't magdumping it, in fact I was shooting it relatively normally However, after a few magazines the handguard was able to get to the point where it was noticeably hot Still able to hold it without getting burned though

Yeah, I wouldn't be a fan of running one in a blowback specifically because of OOB Kabooms I know Garrow arms recently released a 17 HMR upper for the AR and they are supposed to be releasing a gas operated 9mm upper too
