I was sifting some raw gum asafoetida that I had put in the blender and powdered it up getting it ready to do a tincture Got that sticky stuff on my fingers and I can't keep em outta my nose Almost as bad as Backbreaker on the fingers - lol

Re: Asafoetida - 02 07 20 09:18 PM A strong tincture liquid will give you better distribution potential into a bait or lure formula The powder form is not quite as strong and will take much more to achieve the same representation

Has anyone used different solvents and found varying final odors? I’ve really only ever used alcohol but have heard other solvents work I guess I am wondering if the end product all pretty much smells the same,

I was paging through a 1950 FFG magazine and ran across an old coyote lure formula It called for a half ounce of asfoditia (spelling?) per half pint of lure Does this seem like too much? Thank you
