You may be right However, seeing as these systems already appear on Coinops, Hyperspin, Launchbox, I assumed that Batocera would follow suit, as time opportunity permit I've already invested a lot of time, energy, money into my Batocera machine I would love to be able to play these games without spending more cash

Batocera is hands down the absolutely best distro there is (my analysis) I love the synthwave 80s theme It's awesome However, I feel the developers don't care so much about stability and performance in general I downloaded Batocera because I wanted to play Atomiswave The performance was bad no matter which core and settings I used

Batocera has an awesome user interface, and is easily the best, when it works I would recommend at the very least, if using Batocera as the main OS on that machine as I have been, keeping a Lakka live USB near that machine at all times for the weeks you're spending trying to troubleshoot Batocera after an update, etc, and you just want to play

Load times will be faster but not significantly so 16GB ram is overkill for Batocera, even for more advanced systems Only beneficial if you plan on playing Windows games Batocera is pretty low demand, and processor power is more important that much else for emulation Batocera itself loads quite quickly, even with a large library of ROMs
