- Behringer S16 Not Passing Audio - ProSoundWeb
Unfortunately, the guy who sold them the Behringer equipment was quite pushy and not as honest as would be hoped He sold them a console which was a definite side step (downgrade?) from their previous one, stage racks that added no value (as there was a large snake) and a UPS which apparently died a week after it was purchased!

OK, watched the Behringer video and a couple of others I understand the flexibility, number of channels, effects and such As a current Midas M32R and DL32 owner, I'm trying to see the attraction Seldom do I ever use all 32 tracks up or need more effects options Am I missing something in this revolutionary splash that's happening before my eyes? Just not getting it for the lay person not

As a new user of Behringer's X32 Rack digital console at church, I was forced to switch to our old analog mixer last weekend, 45 minutes before service started The X32 simply wouldn't boot, on the second occasion we were to use it, no less The problem was easy to diagnose once I had the cover

1) Behringer X32 Rack is effectively an S16 stagebox integrated with "mixer electronics" 2) Midas has no preamps built in, and no input or output channels at all Need either a Midas DL16 or Behringer S16 to be channel equivalent 3) I will stipulate the Midas preamps are superior to the Midas-designed preamps of the x32 Rack, or S16 stagebox

The Church is using a Behringer X AIR XR18 to manage the audio It's connected to a mini HP computer through Ethernet The HP is using the standard X AIR Edit app for windows 10 The app connects fine to the XR18, and the audio outputs to the Main L and Main R XLR plugs to the speaker system All of that seems to work fine
