When I run Belarc Advisor, it reports missing critical updates (several KB's) I went thru each of them manually and when trying to install them (with the standalone installer), Windows reports that the update is already installed in my system So, should I interpret that this is an issue with Belarc and not with Windows Update? Belarc is not for regular checking if a system is up to date If there are KB's not installed on a system, that means that the update manager did not see a reason to do so or removed older KB's that are no longer valid or needed Belarc is just a tool that has become outdated

The Key Belarc shows is not my Win7 key nor is it a TP key (Key: XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-MY47H) I was an insider but left when I upgraded to W10 Could this be something leftover from one of the insider builds?

Running Belarc Advisor today, however, showed I am missing KB2538243 (classified as "important"), and this alert did not appear the last time I ran Belarc on November 12 I've learned this update relates to a MS C++ 2012 Redistributable, and I find the two C++ files involved in this distribution were installed on my computer on Dec 7
