BimmerLink = diagnostics data I've got both, BimmerLink is great for fault code reading and resetting, can force a DPF regen, as well read all the sensor values (oils, fuels, air pressure temps etc) and I think you can record data logs too

Bimmerlink- Forced regen Hi all, checked my DPF info on Bimmerlink a couple of weeks ago and got the below data, car is 330d, 13 plate on 96k I've done mostly short trips this winter, question is, is it worth purchasing full version and forcing a regen?

What all can you do with BimmerLink? I want to be able to command the DSC pump ABS so I can properly bleed the brakes I asked the developer this question but have yet to hear back Would I be better off with something else for diagnostics and preforming maintenance?

BimmerLink must be connected to vehicle in order for it to control exhaust valve It wont stay open after app is disconnected I don't leave BimmerLink connected or the OBDII connector connected, but my flap stays open as well as ASD stays off

Do you have bimmerlink to verify the level with the app? In my case, it's strange that 6 5L came out but refilled with 6L and oil level was at max I should have use bimmerlink to measure the result between 6L and 6 5L does the level can go higher than "max" in the idrive? EDIT: this is the thread I found about the raw oil level with bimmerlink
