- 1Password to BitWarden. . . . worth it? - Bogleheads. org
We (family of 4) have used 1P for almost 15 years with very few complaints I recently have been reading privacy blogs which claim that Bitwarden is superior to 1Password, mostly because it is open source We have over 500 logins I am doing a 7 day trial run of Bitwarden and so far it seems like the UI isn't as intuitive Has anybody switched from 1P to BW or can make a valid case why
- Bitwarden and 2FA - Bogleheads. org
For Bitwarden, I use a TFA app (Microsoft Authenticator, which backs up to icloud), two Yubikeys (which are stored in secure locations), and a sealed envelope with the backup TFA codes (stored in a very secure location)

- 1Password Mac with 2 users on same Mac - Bogleheads. org
Re: 1Password Mac with 2 users on same Mac by brad clarkston » Wed Feb 22, 2023 4:16 pm That is not a reasonable answer since BitWarden allows up to 2 concurrent users to be logged in on desktop mobile at a time on the free version and five on the paid version and I think 6 on the family plan I expected better from a top tier password manager
- iOS 18 Passwords App: All the New Features - MacRumors Forums
Anyone else ditching 1Password but need a plan for where to move the things that the new Password app doesn't support? (Passport, image files, software licenses, notes etc)? Looking for ideas I use Keychain for my passwords and Bitwarden for everything else like you mentioned
- recommended password manager. . . and just how safe is keychain??
I would suggest Bitwarden To have it completely secured and private I use it self-hosted on my NAS via Docker This tutorial helped me:
- Best password manager, for pc and Android? - Bogleheads. org
Bitwarden works great on iPhone with FaceID and Safari, much better than Lastpass ever did PC and Chrome Edge works fine too I don't think there's necessarily a single "best" for all people -- but Bitwarden and Dashlane are near the top right now for cross platform use by individuals and families
