When Brok died, he was denied afterlife, he is missing his Fylgja (however you spell it) part of his soul, his direction His soul was unable to be guided to the light of alfheim thus his soul is just gone as the other three soul bits had nothing to lead them to the destination they need to go

I know this is probably actually pretty obvious, but for a character seen as a stereotypical meathead Brok is genuinely one of the smartest characters in the game, he stumped Mimir, gave some damn good philosophy lessons, and managed to piece together that something was definitely up with “Tyr” he may be vulgar and dumb on the surface but he was one of the wisest characters Kratos has ever

I went with Brok's, and upgraded it too, and was happy with it for a while, but it was quickly replaced by Ivaldies Edit - mind you, unless you have all the Niflheim ciphers, then the dwarven armour should serve you well for a time
