You have your volume on the buttkicker amp turned up too loud It is essentially "bottoming out" You should calibrate the buttkicker's somewhat similar to a subwoofer Turn your system to the loudest movie viewing level and calibrate so they don't bottom out during a scene, like say, War of the Worlds the emerging from the street scene

I checked all of the obvious stuff Connections are all good Subwoofer level on the AVR (Denon) is at +12 Obviously the volume on the Buttkicker amp is up and the cutoff frequency is acceptable (100hz) I was using a splitter from the pre-out on the AVR to split the signal between his subwoofer amp and his Buttkicker amp

customer support response in red thanks for the quick responce greatly appreciated i do have a question regarding which direction the force is applied i have looked at figure 2 of the user manual many times to me it appears to be a view of the Buttkicker from the top and the arrows are indicating the force is side to side
