There's a multitude of factors behind PCGS's rise to number one, and most of it is dealer backing and confidence I think ANACS and NGC grade just about exactly as conservative as PCGS, but people want PCGS It's the registry sets, presense at coin shows, and popularity among collectors dealers, and esteem to have PCGS graded coins, etc
- Henning Nickels popularity resulting in many on ebay.
Henning nickels were made by a man named Henning as contemporary counterfeits I have linked info below Back when I learned about them was 2011 and I was intrigued Tthey almost never showed up for sale, and when they did they were nowhere near the 300 00 + they are getting on ebay now ebay alerts come to my mail daily telling when a new one is posted, and there have been at least 1-3 posted
