I have a model that I exported using cadmapper com of a small city I exported the roads as outlines I used the Eneroth Terrain Volume Extension to add thickness to the base for 3D printing and then manually adjusted the heights of the buildings using the push pull tool I currently have both roads and water that I would like to

I imported open data with CADmapper Now I have 1 component containing 4 main groups, buildings, park 1, park 2 and roads In the group buildings there are maybe a 100 groups each containing 1 building In order to use the extension DROP GC, the geometry needs to be a component I can manually explode each group and make it a component, but for about 100 groups, it is not an efficient workflow

Tu peux aussi regarder du côté de Cadmapper com gratuitement tu peux récupérer un modèle 2d ou 3d de 1km2 utilisant les infos d’openstreetmap c’est pas le cadastre, mais c’est pas mal

An alternative I tend to use is cadmapper com (combined with official 2d plans) create an account, pick an area of 1 km2 for free (or more and pay), it’ll use sources like openstreetmap and more (in the US…) to create a 2d or 3d file Buildings will be separate groups with either fixed height or actual height, you get all sort of stuff in tags
