I took your advice Amazing quality, easy to install I'm not mechanically inclined Installed, NP without drilling They look great and more importantly work great! No helmet buffeting at all now, even at high speeds Highly recommended!

The Chieftain has a similar reach issue but I put Rox Risers on it and the bars are now perfect, no option for that on the Springfield due to the cowl I do find the Springfield more agile due the lighter front end (no fairing) I do like the bells and whistles of the 2017 Chieftain but ultimately it is comfort that makes the decision YMMV

Hello everyone I just purchased a lovely new 2018 Chieftain Dark Horse and the cheap storage latch already broke All my local dealers are out of stock until the end of August but I was able to order one online What is the easiest way to remove the old latch and install a new one? Do I need to remove the two Allen head screws?
