- diadema or stephanos? - Biblical Hermeneutics Stack Exchange
I have been told that diadema is translated as a crown representing royalty and or authority I see in Rev 19:21 the crown of Christ is diadema Rev 6:2, the one on the white horse bent on conquest (antichrist) wears a stephanos Now, I read in Rev 13:1 that the beast with ten horns and seven heads is wearing a crown (diadema)
- Are the twenty-four elders of Revelation 4-5 angels or humans?
I'm not prepared to give a full answer (time restrictions), but don't discount the possibility that the 24 elders represent a group (i e not a group of exactly 24 people), just as the 7 Spirits of Revelation 1:4-5 are not necessarily signifying that there are 7 Holy Spirits in the Trinity
- Why is Revelation 19:11-16 interpreted by some to refer to Jesus Christ?
The "crowns" are royal crowns, "diadema" as distinct from the victory crowns, "stephanoi" He has a robe dipped in blood signifying the bleeding lamb He leads the armies of heaven who are the righteous who have their white robes (Rev 19:8) He is "King of Kings and Lord of Lords" compare Rev 17:14, Acts 10:36, Rom 10:12, Col 1:15
- prophecy - Are the seven heads and ten horns in Daniel the same as the . . .
V3 - has 7 "diadema" (royal crowns) on the heads; V4 - tail sweeps one third of stars from the heaven and tossed them to earth; V4 - stood before the woman who was about to give birth, ready to devour her child as soon as she gave birth; V7 - fights Michael in heaven; V8 - not strong enough to win war in heaven; V9 - hurled down to earth
- revelation - Why are the crowns on the Heads of the Beast with 7 . . .
@Ruminator I have responded to that question as well; it received a lot of downvotes, but yes, there are 'nations' that are represented in the 7 Head 10 Horn Beast
- If one rider on the white horse represents Christ, does the other . . .
After reading this question Whose blood is on the white rider's robe? my attention was drawn to another white horse and rider that we read about in Revelation 6:2 (NIV), I looked, and there
