- Current Best RCR123 Batteries? - Candle Power Flashlight Forum
Different brands may use one term or the other You have to look at chemistry Regular lithium ion will be 3 7 volts (4 2 max ) and lithium iron phosphate will be closer to 3 volts and a better direct voltage replacement to a disposable CR123A cell with poorer power density but potentially more cycle life
- CR123A and rechargeable substitutes - Candle Power Flashlight Forum
The correct name is CR123A and this name might be because it is 2 3 of the A battery size (The A battery is not used anymore) Often the battery is only called CR123, sometimes only 123 or 123A Rechargeable batteries that has about the same size is often called RCR123 or R123, this naming is done to signal that they can replace a CR123 (That
- Difference between DL123A, CR123A, K123A, EL123AP, and VL123
Just an ASSumption, but I would assume the letters before the 123A are likely manufacturer's part numbers and branding, i e DL123A = Duracell Lithium 123A, EL123A = Energizer Lithium 123A, etc
- Test Review of Panasonic Lithium Industrial CR123A
Panasonic Lithium Industrial CR123A Official specifications: Nomial Voltage: 3V Nomial Capacity: 1400mAh (Cutoff at 1 8 volt 20°C) Standard discharge current: 20mA Maximum discharge current: 1000mA at 20°C Mass: Approximately 17g Operating temperature: -20°C to 60°C Storage temperature: -20°C
- CR123A or DL123A, Whats the diff? - Candle Power Flashlight Forum
These are the same, as far as I know - Surefire calls their new batteries SF123A (SF = Surefire), Surefire also used Duracell CR123A and these were probably called DL123A (DL = Duracell) They are all standard CR123A batteries and you can use them in your light
- Lithium AA vs. CR123A - essentially the same? Or different chemistry?
The Lithium AAs do not have the potentially explosive traits that the CR123A cells do The Lithium AAs are around 1 7 volts whereas the CR123A cells are 3 0 volts To run a 6P on AAs (if there are tubes for that) you would need to use 4 Lithium AA cells to get similar voltage as 2 CR123A cells It would also be one really long light 🙂
- 16340 = CR123A? - Candle Power Flashlight Forum
The voltage from 2x 16340 = 7 4v where the combined voltage from 2x CR123A = 6 0v A significant difference for a bulb The LED of the new Pelican M6 2390 can handle the 7 4v LED are more sensitive to current change, not voltage change
- Alternatives to CR123A batteries? - Candle Power Flashlight Forum
An orbtronic or keepower protected 16650 2500mAH (which will actually be ~2100mAH charged to and protected to 4 2V instead of 4 35V) combined with a decent single slot charger, maybe something like an Xtar MC1 Plus, would make a pretty decent power solution for a G2, but the lamp assembly would have to be replaced with something that runs lower voltage reasonably well
