I will warn you, I have never purchased anything from REI, so I am biased I have always found Campmor to be less expensive, and offer more items There is a decent Outfitter here in Columbia, SC, but they are all way high on everything I have a feeling i will be crushed by the REI loyalists here

does anyone pack any of those portable shower devices that heat the water in the sun? wouldn't it be nice to rinse off the sweat and bugspray? they dont weigh much the weight is worth not getting your sleeping back all funky there are environmentaly safe soaps on the market too although i understand the soaps are not 100% ok for the environment but are safer than regular soaps
