For me this was an onerous process because my users have 3 instances of AppWorx, and each one must be upgraded in sequence over a period of weeks, meaning users had to install and maintain multiple client versions on their computers until the upgrade was complete for all servers

The application jobs that AppWorx is managing now cause AppWorx to stop responding In the end, support found a script which they had used on another customer site and provided this script to us It is a Unix wrapper script for the startso and stopso scripts, called startam_monitor and stopam_monitor which in turn call Perl script uc4_daemon

With Oracle now going to a Java subscription policy (Jan '23) customers will have a hugh increase in Java licensing costs as defined by the new policy
