I think if you have regular shifts but less than full time hrs, even 1-2 shifts mo every month you are part time per diem is as needed you might work 10 shifts 1 month and then no shifts for 2 mo then 3 shifts the next mo, etc I have a full time job 13 shifts mo, a part time job 3 shifts mo, and a per diem job 0-2 shifts mo

For #1 and #2, place it as "per diem" because part-time is usually 12-24 hours a week, and it's consistent They will know you worked a lot when you input the total hours For #3, I had a similar issue I spoke with CASPA customer service and they told me to put the closest topic to it I put it under "counseling" and they said that was fine

The time frames people are talking about sound fine, but just a quick other perspective If you are leaving to join another practice, you've got to take them into account as well On one hand, they probably want you sooner rather than later and they may also judge your professionalism by how you treated your last employer when you left
