Charizard is a really low tier charizard i can see him being used in some good competitive matches, I have definitely Flare Blitz to go through zero suits blaster for a kill, I also feel that char's f smash is a little under rated, its deceptively fast, has good range, and has the ability to kill across screen pretty early

Charizard just seems like a weird person to give Alt's to because of the tail? He can just get different textures instead of complete alternate costumes like Flygon scheme giving him green bands around his arms and neck and red goggles, Salamence costume with blue skin and red wings, Rayquaza with yellow rings and his earthworm bandage things

Dragonite probably wouldn't have a sweetspot on any of his tail moves like Charizard and would have a normalized knock-back all across his tail hits much like Lucina gets with her sword compared to Marth Perhaps Dragonite would even get an extra jump or two? Overall, Dragonite would make for a more 'balanced' fighter compared to Charizard
