- (Spoilers Extended) Chett’s treatment of the dogs is a . . . - Reddit
A lovely introduction Chett is further endeared to the reader, each time he threatens to butcher the starving dogs for meat He views the dogs as instruments to do his bidding, finds any diversion or delay to be unacceptable, and believes everyone else are idiots or against him
- (Spoilers Extended) ASOS Prologue Readthrough Ramble: Chett . . . - Reddit
Chett recognizes the disparity, but he never thinks to dismantle the system of discrimination, the system isn't the problem The problem, in Chett's eyes, is that he's not benefitting from it
- (Spoilers ALL) The Story of Chett and Potential Foreshadowing . . . - Reddit
Like Chett, by the end of ADWD Ramsay has lost his wife (Jeyne Poole), potentially his keep (Winterfell), and as a result his chance at lordship And if this is indeed correct that this is clever foreshadowing of the demise of Ramsay the phrase: "Only a wildling's sword in his belly" could mean one of two things
- (Spoilers ASOS) Chett: The unluckiest man in Westeros?
Chett, like many a young chap, is desperate to play his first game of hide the sausage Sadly, owing to his aforementioned face, that is easier said than done After being shunned by every girl in the village, he turns to an upstanding young lady named Bessa, who has earned the unenviable reputation as the loose lady of Hag's Mire
- Why does Chett survive the prologue but the other prologue POV . . .
Chett made a sound that was half a laugh and half a sob, and suddenly his smallclothes were wet, and he could feel the piss running down his leg, see steam rising off the front of his breeches A Storm of Swords, Prologue Is there any reason why Chett survives the prologue and not the others? Has George R R Martin commented on this before?
- (Spoilers Main) Is it accurate to say that Chett is basically a . . .
Yep Though Chett has certainly seen his fair share of hardships in his life (when he gets to be Aemon's assistant, he's just glad he is not being beaten), that doesn't make him any less horrible He truly is a Nice Guy before the whole concept was popularized
- (Spoilers ASOS) Did anyone else read the prologue and. . .
16 votes, 46 comments Did anyone else strangely find themselves feeling sorry for relating to Chett in the prologue? FYI - I have never killed…
- (Spoilers Main) Chett is out of his goddamned mind - Reddit
The one thing I liked about Chett is that we got a glimpse of how law enforcement works in Westeros After he committed the murder, we learn that Walder Frey sends one of his sons to hear the case and pass judgment
