If you’re new to Cronometer let us be the first to say – welcome aboard! We are thrilled to have you and we feel like we’ve created the perfect app to help you reach your goals Whether you’re looking to track your protein intake to gain muscle composition, keep an eye on your magnesium and omega 3 for better health or shed a couple
- How to delete data and restart - Welcome To The Cronometer Community
Cronometer uses the recommendations from the USDA Health Canada Dietary Reference Intakes for the default nutrient targets to get users started This is just a jumping off point - all targets in Cronometer are customizable You can edit all your targets and tailor your profile to meet your individual needs!
- Should I add exercise calories? - Welcome To The Cronometer Community
Sync your wearable activity tracker to Cronometer in the profile tab of your account (Scroll down to devices) to view the different types of wearables that we support If you wear your device all day, set your activity level to "None" as your device will import the appropriate number of calories for daily burned and separate activities
- customizing activity levels - Welcome To The Cronometer Community
as is, the following activity levels are supported Sedentary (BMR x 0 2): Little or no exercise You will burn some additional calories over and above BMR even for light activity such as watching TV, working at a desk, etc Use this setting if you are synced to a device that tracks workouts only (not tracking general activity)
- Logging meat (raw vs cooked) - Welcome To The Cronometer Community
We recommend using the NCCDB when logging foods in Cronometer because they provide the most nutrient data NCCDB provides the nutrient info for prepared foods, in other words the data is for a cooked serving of meat If you're looking for raw instead, I recommend searching for a USDA Search for the name of the meat and add raw at the end
- Automatic Water Content Tracking — Welcome To The Cronometer Community
Upon further investigation it was cronometer keep in mind that I do not track water in cronometer at all (that’s why I bought the smart water bottle) So I’m confused as to where 30+Oz of water even came from I only have one 16oz thing of decaf coffee a day that I track in cronometer after that I only drink water
- Exporting Data — Welcome To The Cronometer Community
I am transitioning from the New Direction diet (high-protein, low-carb) to a purely ketogenic diet MFP allows you to export a report that contains the protein, carbs, fat, sugar, and calories for each item in the food diary, and I very much hope that Cronometer will be able to provide something similar
