Made in Japan, in a separate custom shop, run by Master cue makers, from what I read Musashi cues look very nice, but they are far less expensive then Mezz Exceed cues Still retailing in the 2-3k price range though, I believe, so they are not cheap either

A full featured 40" metal lathe is most likely the option for a cue maker wanting the best Perhaps even more than one if you had the room and money You would still need to do some mods to get it dialed in for cue making No doubt about it there is still a LOT of craftsmanship, experience, and knowledge that goes into a custom made cue

Ihad a fancy break cue with a phenolic tip and special shaft that did well But I have this ugly home made breaker with a conical taper and just installed a 8 dollar white diamond and the damn thing is breaking better for me than anything I've used before Granted I'm also breaking better but the white diamond is hittin em hard and I'm loving it

Would you buy a cue that had his name in large script, like the copy Balabushka cues, and assume it was an authentic Black cue? If you don’t like the idea, feel free to create something that would work better I started the thread as an idea to help people identify cues I didn’t intend for it to be a debate thread

Yeah, I do not think he is in it for the money He probably just loves building cues, and doing conversions He is a collector too I recall him offering me a trade on one of his Titlist Conversion for a Meucci Originals cue that I had, but I needed the money at the time, so he just purchased the cue from me instead He was really nice to deal
