I am new to the 2024 F350 with DPF and wonder if someone could help me understand how the regen cycle works I read the owners manual but can’t say that it helped me understand what to expect Filter message was at 0% when I picked up truck with 30 miles and is at 10% at about 150 miles Thanks!

Same happened to me about 2 years-ish ago, OP Similar mileage on my 2017 No warning Just died on my way to work about 1 8 mile after the check engine light came on Ford said DPF was clogged and to pound sand because the warranty for the DPF is 50k miles $5K for part + $1K for install was the quote

When I had my dpf event while towing I followed a ford diesel mechanics advice and cleared the codes Drove it 50 miles unloaded before clearing the codes with no success, cleared them and drove back the 50 miles and thru passive regen cleared the dpf below the threshold and then the active regen did the rest

(A bad dpf pressure isn't listed in the link but is in many diagnostic guides) The only thing you can try right now is to get it out on the hiway for 20-25 miles and see if it does regen In the first 5-10 miles you should see the evic message change from 100% to 90, 80 and then regen complete

My question is this; How many Cummins owners of the Gen 4 5 have fixed their frequent regens by replacing the DPF differential sensor? It is not hard to access, and the cost is about $150 Recently I started to have frequent regenerations, the last distance between regens was 158 miles driving mostly flat terrain at Hwy speeds of 60-65 mph
