Re: DPMS pattern VS Armalite for build Both are good from what I understand I have only shot the armalite from a friend, but own a DPMS pattern They both shoot well, though I give a advantage to DPMS for 1 reason and that is because of the aftermarket support

Re: DPMS Panther LR-308 VS Panther LRT-SASS The main differences between the two are the barrell, SASS uses a 18" fluted ss, LR a 20" heavy chrome moly, trigger on the SASS is a adjustable JP vs the standard crappy ar15 trigger on the LR Everything else is either cosmetic or for ergonomics, ie the PRS stock on the SASS is nice, and I like the pistol grip that DPMS but on the SASS as well, but

I like my 18 inch barrel on my DPMS I'm getting sub-moa but my bolt guns are better Were it me I certainly would not buy a complete rifle from DPMS though If you want a DPMS build it yourself QC at DPMS has always been an issue and the only way I know to ensure your DPMS is correct is to build it yourself
