I concur with wmb194, this is a sophiscated and rarefied stock market entity which bears no resemblance at all to fixed interest building society accounts which most savers are familiar with However, any discussion about this entity maybe wholly academic, since there is no evidence of any active trading of this bond on the LSE for a number of years now

@Bob2000 It is likely but not yet confirmed that Yorkshire Building Society will offer a Christmas Regular Saver in early to mid January 2025 that will mature on 31 October 2025, if the last two years are anything to go by I don't think any other building societies (or banks for that matter) are currently offering one right now but it is entirely possible that one or two of them will also

Wikipedia would suggest that the only Building Society that is a direct participating member of the scheme is Nationwide Faster Payments - Wikipedia Yes, that's the point - Faster Payments is a two-tier system under which transfers between direct participants should complete within two hours (but usually instantaneous) whereas all others must be by the end of the next working day

What are members feelings on The Yorkshire Building Society withdrawing ATM capability by withdrawing cash cards from its savers on all their accounts … you will have to transfer money to another account with another bank in order to be able to withdraw cash or go to a branch … if you have one near enough of course … what if all banks decided on this action I wonder how people feel about
