Hi all, I’m looking to edit my H264 4K DJI drone videos using a free software editing programme I’ve heard that DaVinci Resolve is a pretty decent feature packed tool Would you guys recommend this or can you suggest alternatives? Not looking to do lots to the videos, maybe some colour

Quite by coincidence, I shot my first 180-degree panorama yesterday with the Air 3 I was expecting to have to stitch the separate exposures together using the same software (Affinity Photo) I use for DSLR panoramas, but much to my delight, when I pulled the micro SD card and viewed results, I discovered that the Air 3 had already done the stitching and produced a final composite image

I'm read the system requirements needed to run vegas pro or vegas movie studio for video editing, but says I need 8 core, and 16gb ram to edit 4k videos That seems like a lot to edit 4k drone videos

Whilst Davinci Resolve is a magnificent free software editor it does have a fairly steep learning curve in my opinion If you happen to be a Mac user like myself, then you can’t go past Final Cut Pro for video editing It will set you back circa AU$300 for a lifetime license

Update: I am using DaVinci Resolve in the past 6 months and it is definitely the best editing and color grading software I have used so far The free version is perfect BUT you need a serious hardware to get it going smoothly I bought a new PC for this purpose
