Omg Fedex ground worker here I am supposed to be learning the dro this week ours just started about a week ago and it’s like hi I’m home this system is the worse I’m curious to find out how your peak was I’m soooo glad we started after peak I would have quit I’m very interested to kno has anyone master it yet and does it get better there has to be a hack

DRO will shelve your stops in the order it thinks you should run that day Starting at 1000 and ending with the 8500’s You may start off at 4583, then across the street is 7013, one block down you have a few 2000’s

Within DRO the stops that are shown to the BC AO (whoever is in charge of doing it) are based off EDD (Estimated Date of Delivery) So when you order something online and it says “Estimated delivery time May 7th ” that information is sent to FedEx servers where that information is then relayed plugged into DRO

Dropped my FedEx Ground package off at the nearest dropbox When I went to FedEx’s website it gave me the location of a dropbox nearby Upon arriving nowhere on this box did it say Express shipments only After doing some research, it actually looks like FedEx says you can even put a Ground package into an Express box

DRO will have me cross busy roads because the next stop is technically closer this way It doesn’t seem to account for human safety decisions based on traffic flow or other variables Some days, the DRO actually wants me to go back and forth between different neighborhoods several times for no apparent reason
