FicHub is faster for long stories because they are already cached On the other hand, using something like FicLab results in downloading about 20 chapters, followed by a pause of approximately 60 seconds due to cloudflare, before proceeding with another 20 chapters This cycle repeats This issue only occurs on FFN (FanFiction Net)

fanfiction downloader is unfortunately broken due to ffnets captcha bot checking procedure, which doesn't let it through as other commenters have said, fichub works really well, and has a fair few options for how to download too, so highly recommend that one while it still works

Ok If you're interested, I took a random title from my digital archive and went back to AO3 to download it using FicLab in both PDF and epub file formats

Update 7 19 2021: Figured out a way to bulk-download the couple thousand links I have via fichub net A bit tedious and dependent on fichub’s bandwidth which vary quite a bit, but it got the job done!
