Hi try opening the task manager and force close Origin that way Then restart and try if it works nevertheless If not, hit the repair game option which you get by right-clicking on the game in Origin

Hey this issue is caused by running an out of date VC++ installation It can be resolved by manually running the installer from the Origin installation folder - the default location for this folder is: C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Origin From this folder, run one of both files: vcredist_x86_vs2015

Hey guys, I've noticed recently that Origin seems to be stuck at finalizing when downloading games like KoTOR and KoTOR II So the "fix" I found was to force close Origin with task manager and then run the program as administrator For me, this glitch seems to happen whenever Origin doesn't fully do

My Sims 4 and Expansion packs keep getting stuck on "Finalizing" I constantly check or updates, make sure I try the "repair game" feature, but nothing works

help the sims 4 is not working it is stuck on finalizing after trying to repair it because it wanted to update but would not update it just didn't respond at all so yeah stuck on finalizing and it wont update so i cant play which is sad help

When i reinstalled it got stuck on finalizing, and won’t let me cancel or pause the download, if i try opening the game from the application and not origin it comes up with a pop up from Origin saying “Origin is busy with an operation that can’t be interrupted Please wait until this operation is complete”

The launcher prompted for an update, I let it download and run its course, it said finalizing and then a message came up saying the game has been updated and give option to launch When I click launch it goes back to the EA app menu and says update required this repeats over and over and over I've tried 5 times with the same result
