i started flinching with a pull trigger around 2010 put up with it until it got worse went to a release that lasted for 1 or 2 years then started to flinch it was costing me 8-10 targets per 100 so i had to give up ATA probably didn't shoot for close to 1 year started to shoot again with a pull trigger, practice only got to the point that i can break 20 + sometimes a 24 0r 25 anyway

Flinching is not caused by a trigger bench rest shooters with 1 2 oz triggers will flinch Changing the direction that the sear works ain't gonna cure the problem The only reason that trap tolerates release triggers is it's good bait

Most of my "flinching" comes from probably anticipating recoil, and then not pulling the trigger hard enough to fire the round Highly doubt a release trigger would fix my issue, because it's almost always on the first round fired I've gotten pretty good at getting rid of it, but it still rears its ugly head every few rounds
