been using FXR gear for about 5 years, various lines Currently, I have a couple seasons old Team jacket and pants These have held up pretty well I also have the x-cross pants which I use with another old FXR jacket Pretty nice for the money The new doo gear looks nice, but if I were going to get spendy, I would buy the Klim

I have to say, I have the FXR Backshift jacket and pants and they are awesome Starting my 2nd season and live them I read many of issues with FXR boots, so I bought a pair of Motorfiist and they have been bullet proof! Warm all get out, even at 17 degrees below zero and ALWAYS dry Wish I bought 2 pairs so I had boots for the next 10 years!

This year I bought a pair of the FXR Reacon for myself I got them on a Black Friday deal so they were 20% off so that and the fact that FXR have an extra 100g on the palm and 100g on the back of the hand so I went the FXR route to save the $$ and get added insulation As OP mentioned not sure how much or not so much the extra 100g does

Some of the FXR gear features Omni stretch which is incredibly comfortable Their pants fit better than Klim as well Overall, I think FXR pants are better than anything Klim sells Better kneepads that are wider and longer Most of their pants have nice venting whereas some of the Klims don't The only downer is FXR is not 100% windproof

Had my last FXR suit for 11 years, absolutely no issues what so ever Bought a new FXR suit this year but haven't ridden yet Looked at Klim and Motorfist but I liked the way the FXR fit better and more pockets Bought FXR Elevation Light boots last year with the dual BOA and love them Very warm I just wouldn't want to walk a couple miles in

FXR Clutch bibs - nice and warm, maybe too warm when dodging trees, on the trail they were perfect Rode twice in 8F Skidoo Team X in blue LT, was on sale for $259 I'm plenty warm I fit a TekVest under it and a t shirt
