Not sure if this varies with the difficultysetting but playing the game on Very Hard for the campaign map bribing even the smallest army led by a mediocre rebel captain will usually cost at least 10 000 denari This cost probably varies with patches and settings, and I recall bribing being much easier and cheaper in version 1 0 for instance ----

In Medieval: Total War the big ones I recall were the Rose Compass, Golden Horde, and Gunpowder events In RTW we have heard of the Marius Reforms (new units) and the Sparticus Revolt (rebellion or new faction?) I imagine the Marius Reforms will not only activate the Legionnaire unit for Romans but also activate the Seleucid version

If I recall correctly, there are only 2 archer ranges in the default version of the game Normal and long Any archer unit that has 'Long Range Missiles' should have the same range as other units with the same attribute The range of normal archers is 120 I think, and those with long range missiles is 170

Does anybody know which file has all the earthquakes,floods and crap and how to shut it off? I just lost 3 family members to floods and earthquakes in the last 2 years If you recall, I'm the one trying to keep the royal line pure so I don't have many family members to spare Thanks
