I’ve been taking 80mg of propranolol daily (20mg in the morning, 20mg after lunch, and 40mg after dinner) for 8 months to manage the physical symptoms of anxiety As my anxiety improved through therapy, my GP and I decided to gradually reduce the propranolol In the first week, we decreased the dinner dose to 20mg, followed by 10mg after another week I’m scheduled to eliminate the dinner

I have always had some anxiety and panic attacks so with everything going on called my GP for some help GP prescribed Propranolol at 40mg up to twice a day For the first couple weeks I took one a day which seemed to help, I felt I was coping really well just a little tired which was to be expected

HI Andrea, Yeah in my first couple of weeks of taking fluoxetine 20mg my anxiety got worse and the doctor suggested I take propanolol to ease it It did make me feel a bit better however that night after taking 3 of them with the fluoxetine I didn't sleep for the whole night and was having panic attacks too
