I did use it and, after time, it became pretty reliable but there's always something creaky about Gigabyte software that makes me feel safer without it The GUIs are always poor, there's usually spelling issues which makes me wonder how well developed these apps are and there was one particular component update that continued to restart my PC

For any travelers passing by, try Gigabyte's Control Center (GCC) program Just make sure to uncheck the bloatware (Norton, Realtek Dragon, etc) I did this after going through this thread (confirming revision number and downloaded bios file) but couldn't get the bios to update Gigabyte's program pushed it all through, ezpz
