The Ruger GP100 is a fine gun I would rate it above most any other medium to large frame double action revolver out there with the current ones offered! The newer Smiths with the locking feature don't even come close to the Ruger GP100!! But I do not feel the GP100 even compares to over all quality that the Colt Python has!
