- Is there an online engine like Google Scholar which allows me to sort . . .
6 Yes—while Google Scholar itself does not support sorting search results by citation count, there's a well-maintained open-source workaround: sort-google-scholar is a Python tool that queries Google Scholar and sorts the results by total citations or citations per year
- How to obtain citation counts per year or exportable data from Google . . .
At the Google scholar page of that paper you can also hover over the bars to see e g that the paper has 109 citations from 2015 I don't know about a way to directly export data from Google scholar You could probably html scrape the data though, or by manually using " custom range " here to get citation counts for each year

- google scholar - How to count non-self citations of articles . . .
In Google Scholar, I can view the number of citations of each article, but this includes self-citations Is there a way to view the number of non-self citations?
- How does Google Scholar handle pre-print citations?
Google Scholar is fairly decent at collating different versions of the same manuscript (see here for an example from my own publication list) How it does that exactly I am not sure, probably based on title It's definitely smart enough to see beyond simple cosmetic changes or layout differences Citations for either of the papers will then count towards the "master" manuscript It does not
