- Battle. net broken for Wow, cant play, download, or update the game
Posting here with hope to get more traction and hopefully a resolution to this issue Since this past Tuesday when the patch went live my game has been basically broken The issue seems to be with the Battle net launcher The download will not begin and stays stuck in initializing, also seems to be stuck in a loop and the button lights up for a second saying “Update” then goes back to

Seriously every single update I deal with this No matter if I set no limits to the download speed, or allow huge number - it downloads painfuly in Kb Help! I know my internet is not best, but normaly I download everything in Mb and much faster Here I am waiting for 90 Mb update for over 30 minutes and I am stuck on 2(!!!) Mb

This issue has been on my mind for a few years now, but only just getting around to asking “why” When I am not using a VPN, and there is an update in the battle net launcher for any of the installed games, I fail to get above 50KB s download But, when I enable my VPN just for the launcher, I am able to download well above 10MB s, still slow, but significantly faster than without the VPN
