- Coasting with the Hobbywing AXE R2. Bit dissapointed.
So the latest version of the Hobbywing AXE come with two modes of operation It has standard Forward Reverse with drag brake (like any other crawler ESC) but also a new Forward Brake Reverse mode for bashing like a 'normal' ESC I bought the 3300KV R2 for my Wendigo with the intention to use it
- Anyone using the Hobbywing QUICRun WP 1080 ESC?
The Hobbywing QUICRun WP 1080 ESC seems like an absolute bargain for an affordable brushed setup 3S, 80 amps, 3A switch mode BEC (which will be plenty for a single 6v servo), $40 and it even comes with program card I've used a lot of HW stuff in helis and they are crazy tough Anyone used

Hobbywing support responded Suggested I "Try the motor pairing process " which i don't really know what they mean I stepped through the calibration, which i probably didn't do initially I switched back to rpm matching mode and I was able to get some effect from the aux wire, but i has to really chop the throttle to get it to free-wheel at all
