I ordered the Iliad by Homer from Collins Classics and although, I have bare minimum mythological background on Ancient Greece, I’m interested reading Homer’s works What do you recommend I brush up on before reading the Iliad and what should I do alongside reading the Iliad? I have heard some talking to taking notes and quotes and watching analysis videos Any suggestions?
