deskew did manage to correct rotation-related distortion in my test run but unfortunately it introduced a thin gray line at the position of the original image border To get rid of the gray border I cropped the images with the -extent option of mogrify

Acrobat runs deskew for an image up to some extent If the page is tilted very large then it won't work Hope it will resolve your issue Please try 1 more thing, scan a document(any common sharable document) at similar angle, you are facing this issue Now run deskew steps and if it doesn't work, please share this document Thanks
