27 votes, 27 comments true I have noticed that if you set up a DVR reminder to record a show, it will re-record every broadcast for the show So if a show has a new episode, it records it and shows as unwatched, you watch it and it shows as watched, then the same episode is aired again, it will record it again and the new recording is now marked as unwatched
