Hi, I am a longtime fan of the band and have all the original pressings on vinyl, indeed as a collector I have come across various different pressings with label variants etc, but something new came my way today I picked up an original French Pressing of IV which has the same g f sleeve but has

A man depicted on the album cover of Led Zeppelin IV has been revealed as a 19th Century thatcher The figure is most likely Lot Long from Mere in Wiltshire, photographed by Ernest Farmer Brian Edwards, from the University of the West of England (UWE), found the original picture when looking through a photograph album for other research
