Consumer Reports - Worth It? I am thinking of paying US$26 for a 1 year subscription to consumer reports How useful is it for Canadians when this is a US publication? I would be mostly interested in the automotive section

Here's the rub: The top 6 machines on Consumer Reports are LG machines, and LG also is at the top of their brand reliability ratings But the repair guy said, "whatever you do, don't get an LG Or a Samsung " (this is just a repair person, by the way He doesn't sell appliances, just fixes them ) What's a buyer to do? Opinions welcome Thanks!
