I'm not exaggerating, some of these folders date back to 2020: So, turns out that whenever you open a file in an archive by double-clicking in GNOME Archive Manager, it extracts it to a temporary folder in ~ cache These should be deleted automatically, but sometimes they aren't (and by sometimes, I mean most of the time apparently in my case)
