The MFlash tool worked fine, recognized the new BIOS file, updated it, rebooted, and nothing So, even when you do it the right way, it still doesn't work apprently I think it's safe to say at this point that this new BIOS update to support Ryzen 5000 series CPUs is a bust

Both mflash and flashback work the same The only difference is that with flashback; you have to rename the bios MSI ROM before you pop the USB drive in and press the button on the back of your case With mflash, you can just throw the bios file on, restart, go into the UEFI ↠ mflash and then select the BIOS file Both are equally as stable

1 What bios version has been loaded? 2 Have you tried with the 1060 and with the old GPU (what model is it?), doing a clear CMOS for each case:

I used the standard procedure with an usb -> not recognized from mflash I used the C ssd directory -> bios files corrupted I used flashback -> the red led start flashing for 1-2minutes than completely red (i think it means corrupted) I used different versione of the new bios, 2022 and 2025

I went to update my bios and MFlash was not accepting the USB for some reason I came across your post and saw that I might had the wrong BIOs for my motherboard Well go figure I did (I had a slight different varation) Just got the bios updated and still CPU showing 100% I then did sfs scannow and it did find some corrupted files (didn't fix)

Went to upgrade the bios using the MFlash utility, but it does not see the bios files on the usb stick It's formatted FAT32 MFlash sees the stick, sees the 2 two folders on the stick, 7C7vA62 and system volume information (hidden folder) but does not see the actual files, it thinks the folder is empty Verified they are there in File Manager
