I am currently playing a Ranger who will eventually multiclass into Rogue and go Arcane Trickster So I read over the rules of Green Flame Blade and I can take it along with Mage Hand another cantrip I am also considering Booming Blade, but Green Flame Blade seems like it would work really well with a Ranger's horde killing capabilities

the only thing that changed with Green-Flame blade and booming blade in Tasha's was adding a gp cost to the weapon material component and it being a range of self (5ft) instead of just 5 feet in scag both were actions and made weapon attacks as part of casting and damage scaled the same as in Tasha's
