It's not illegal to link to copyrighted stuff, and that's exactly what 9Anime does The site itself is technically a directory that tells you where the episodes are, it doesn't actually contain any copyrighted media All the copyrighted media is saved on hosting servers located in places that US law has no jurisdiction Dunno why you're getting downvoted, it's a legit good question
