leggy means that plant is stretching in hopes of finding a better source of light a kalanchoe can handle full on direct outside light, i keep mine on a patio with no problems yours would do best in a southern window with direct light to reduce to leggy-ness if you want a fuller plant i would propagate it and start over with more light

My yellow lantana plants keep growing in wild and messy The stems get really long (leggy) but run parallel to the ground instead of more upright I’ve trimmed them back a couple times recently to create a more compact look Is that what needs to happen to groom them into a nicer fuller shape?
