I spent a bunch of time clicking on dodgy URLs to find my textbooks but then I went for the simplest solution and searched lists of free textbook websites Worked a charm, should probably be a pinned post (I used the first in the list, just remember to follow the instructions because the interface isn't that intuitive)

If you're lucky, you would find your book, click on your book and download the book as pdf epub or whatever format they offer the book to you in, and then find an online file converter to convert the book into your desired format if needed
