I do have to agree, this does seem a little poorly balanced Looking at the muddy chest's drop table in the wiki, the highest level thing it can drop is the wildy hilts to upgrade dragon items to t70 And it's guarded by enemies that take 96 slayer to kill and have defenses that make them annoying to fight unless you're at least in the 90s

The Muddy Key currently despite being quite hard to get (only Chaos Fanatics and Chaos Dwarves drop it) and use only costs 3 4k This is also despite the fact that to loot it you need to go right into the Lava Maze A suggestion would be to do a couple of things Replace the uncut ruby that you gain with an uncut diamond
